PROGRAMS
SFIE offers five levels of intensive English courses:
- ESL (English as a second language)
- TOEFL
- GMAT
- GRE
- TSE preparation
Each ESL course covers the full range of skills (reading, writing, listening, comprehension, idioms, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation) in a friendly, supportive manner. While the bulk of the course work focuses on real world English, we also offer a Level 5 class with a college preparation emphasis.
We help you demonstrate your English language proficiency for use in the workplace. We prepare you for both the Listening and Reading sections of the test.
The TOEFL and GMAT / GRE courses prepare students with skills and strategy based approach, necessary for future academic coursework. For TOEFL students, we offer a weekly practice test.
We are also an official TSE Test Center. Tests are offered monthly.
The Communication/Test Strategy course prepares students for the TSE and IELTS. Emphasis is on picture/chart interpretation, announcements, listening, speaking, pronunciation, and test-taking strategies.
